Heidenhain ND 280
The ND 280 position display for one axis is suitable for simple measurement and positioning tasks, such as feed control on circular saws, the stroke of a press, or the positioning of an additional rotary table on a machine tool.
Design
The ND 280 features a robust aluminum die-cast housing. The splash-proof tactile keyboard is workshop-compatible. A large monochrome, graphic-capable TFT monitor is used to display measurement values, status indicators, and the softkey menu.
Functions
The standard ND 280 position display offers basic functionality for simple measuring and positioning tasks. For extended functionality, such as metrological data acquisition and statistical analysis, the ND 287 evaluation electronics can be used. Its input/output interfaces allow usage in simple automated environments.

For transmitting measurement values to a PC or printer, input/output of parameter and correction value lists, and diagnostics, the ND 280 is equipped with serial interfaces:
